Become a Monthly Donor

As a potential donor, you may think that your donation is not a significant amount to make a difference, but every dollar counts!  Rather than a one-time donation, you can become a monthly donor and once this is established, you don’t have to think about when to donate, it will be automatic.

For those wishing to support Days for Girls, just $10 Canadian (approximately 17,700 Tanzanian shillings) is enough to change the life of a girl, by providing her with a  DFG kit. Over the course of one year, you will provide enough funds to change the life of twelve girls.

For those who wish to support education in Tanzania, your donation can be designated for the FTLOA Bursary Fund.  In the past FTLOA has supported students who were unable to afford the full tuition to attend a technical institute.  Students who have graduated from tailoring, masonry and heavy equipment courses offered at the Teknolojia na Maendeleo previously Dodoma Technical Institute (DTI) are all either self-employed or apprenticing to obtain practical experience.  To date FTLOA has assisted 37 students and they are all either self-employed or apprenticing. We will continue this assistance to educate students so they may obtain employment and thereby improve their lives and the lives of their families.

Your donation can also be designated as for future projects, which will be in the areas of health and education.
